Audit Investigator

Our client has an opportunity available for an Audit Investigator.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) who trained in public practice.
• 6+ years post qualification experience in an external audit firm.
• Excellent technical knowledge and experience in auditing and financial reporting standards and the code of professional conduct.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

KPAs:

• Investigate complaints lodged with the company against registered auditors and prepare reports for the Investigating Committee.
• Prepare proposed charge sheets on matters for the Investigating Committee where improper conduct has occurred.
• Attend Investigating and Enforcement Committee meetings to respond to queries arising from the deliberations of the committees.
• Prepare draft responses to queries arising from Complainants or Respondents on matters investigated.
• Present evidence at Disciplinary Hearings on matters investigated.
• Assist with various ad-hoc assignments in the Investigations department.
