My client is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining their innovative Energy Management System, which integrates IoT hardware and software with an AI virtual manager. This role involves hands-on work, including installing and configuring systems on client sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background who is eager to expand their skills in automation, energy management, and IoT technology.

Education:

Electrical qualification (Low and Medium Voltage)
2-3 years of experience

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Practical understanding of CT wiring and electrical circuits
Knowledge of IP configurations and SIM networks
Strong computer and networking skills (including IP address ranges and IoT connectivity)
