• Grade 12
• Millwright Trade Test
• Knowledge with PLC’s – Siemens S5
• Good in fault finding
• Min 3 years Automotive Experience
• Good Electrical and Mechanical maintenance
• Knowledge of ISO/TS16949, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001
• Be able to work from a diagram
• Exp in very high machine-driven operations

Duties

• Maintain application equipment to ensure production readiness
• Maintain equipment and components of the paint distribution system
• Manage an effective process to repair defective application equipment
• Manage and maintain all application equipment (mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic) in good working condition
• Provide input and support to ensure all preventative, predictive, breakdown maintenance in all application process equipment and machinery is carried out to standard,
• Root cause analysis, identification and elimination
• Optimize application equipment to ensure sustained quality in application process, documented in accordance with quality control system requirements
• Use of effective problem-solving techniques to determine root cause analysis of failures and defects
• To adhere to all aspects of the OSHACT, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001
• To ensure all electrical and mechanical installations are done according to SANS regulations
• To ensure all equipment, power and hand tools are in good and safe working condition and operated, stored and maintained in accordance with specific requirement
• To assist with other tasks that may be deemed to be operational, which responsibility should not unduly be withheld
• To be on standby duties and work overtime when deemed necessary in accordance with the stipulations in the company policies and procedures relating to overtime and standby requirements
• To be responsible for own self-development and actively contribute to the overall development of the team
