Azure Senior Support Engineer required to join an award-winning company based in Glasgow City Centre.
The Company -
An international law firm with offices all over the globe. Their IT provision is of paramount importance to them as their employees need round the clock access to their systems which need to run like a Swiss watch. Cases depend on it. They are continually growing across their international network of offices to provide exceptional standards of service.
This is a brand-new position in the company which will play a key role in progressing the cloud-first strategy. You will work closely with the infrastructure team and will be expected to support them when the Azure based services overlap with on-prem systems, mentoring and supporting the more junior members of the team and provide 3rd - 4th line support when required. You will take ownership of providing support to the Azure environments as well as being hands on with the migration of all servers over to the cloud. You will have strong awareness and knowledge of security processes and procedures and be confident to help upgrade or shape new ones, assist in the design and build of the cloud infrastructure and manage Azure resources by Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
You will have the following Skills/Experience -
** Extensive knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud Support
** Experience with Azure DevOps as a CI/CD tool, Azure Active Directory and AD Sync
** Strong security awareness
** Demonstrable experience of supporting different Azure IaaS and PaaS services in a Windows/Linux environment
** Strong communication and leadership skills
Desirable but not essential -
** Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies
** Azure Certifications - (Exam AZ-103), Azure Security Engineer, Certified DevOps Engineer
** ITIL Certification
** Strong experience of VMWare
** Microsoft O365 administration and configuration
