B-BBEE Verification Specialist (Financial Services)
Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged groups.
Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
This position is limited to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.
A reputable financial services firm located in Durban, is seeking to appoint an analytical and proactive B-BBEE Verification Specialist.
One will be tasked with managing the B-BBEE portfolio for the company’s entities. The selected individual will also be responsible for collaborating with business unit managers to provide guidance, expertise, and direction with regards to data required for B-BBEE verification. One will work to ensure that the firm’s transformation objectives and targeted B-BBEE certification level is achieved for all entities.
Key Performance Areas:
- Championing Strategic B-BBEE Initiatives that Improve on Transformation and B-BBEE.
- Management of the Annual B-BBEE Verification Process.
- To Address Gaps Identified in the Annual B-BBEE Verification Process.
- Compliance with the legislative framework governing B-BBEE.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A completed Bachelor of Commerce, Law, or Business Management.
- A completed B-BBEE Management Development Programme is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ overall B-BBEE Verification experience.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Amended Financial Services Sector Code as a Verification Analyst or Verification Manager.
- Working knowledge of B-BBEE legislation and B-BBEE Codes.
- B-BBEE Technical signatory (Verification Manager) is preferred.
- Excellent numeracy and Accounting skills.
- Strong knowledge of Amended FSC Codes.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data.
