BANQUETING & EVENTS MANAGER
POSITION INFO:

SALARY: MARKET RELATED WITH MEDICAL AID/PROVIDENT FUND
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banqueting and Events Manager to join our prestigious client’s team and lead the planning and execution of all events and banqueting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all events, including conferences, banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event vision and ensure it is executed to the highest standard.
- Lead and manage the banqueting team to deliver outstanding service and seamless operations.
- Work closely with the Sales, Kitchen, and F&B teams to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Monitor event budgets, control costs, and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Oversee setup, breakdown, and smooth operation of all events.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and client follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years'' experience in a similar events or banqueting management role, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-tier service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on event schedules.
- Proficiency in events management software and MS Office; Opera; MC knowledge is a plus.
