Job Description

Purpose to support the Human Resources Manager in the provision of a high quality and professional Human Resources service through the effective administration of the Human Resources department’s systems and procedures and by providing an advisory service to managers and Employees.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to –

• Extensively visiting and working on allocated sites to ensure compliance.
• Responsible for all Human Resources issues, tasks, and administration.
• Coordinate the Talent Management Process.
• Handling onboarding and termination documentation process.
• Maintaining employee records.
• Update Payroll department regarding any employee movement.
• Assist in performance management and employee evaluation.
• Handle employee enquiries and maintain high client service standards.
• Act as a counselor to staff by attending to and resolving the issues of staff members within the workplace.
• Provide basic Industrial Relations advice to managers, ensuring procedural and substantive fairness in all disciplinary matters.
• Solid experience with the internal disciplinary procedure.
• CCMA and Bargaining council representation.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as requested.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.

Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist within a Project Management environment; within the Human Resources Function or as an HR Officer
