BRANCH MANAGER (Logistics Courier services)

• The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the hub
•  ensure and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and customer service 
•  Update and maintain time and attendance records of staff 
• Motivate staff and maintain a positive work environment including the strategizing, execution and providing of feedback to staff with regards to the results of the incentive scores weekly 
• To ensure the timely delivery of parcels to our customers within the SLA requirements To effectively communicate policies and procedures  Computer literate/knowledge on the RMS 

• Monitor staffing needs and personnel issues 
•  Oversee all line hauls / Cargo received and dispatched 
• Oversee Dispatching/Receiving processes for all routes including assessing risk in cases where there are high value movements and taking appropriate action to secure the parcels in question 
• Ensure that a routine alcohol tests are done on COURIERS randomly on a weekly basis • Ensure that random checks are done on couriers daily to make sure that couriers are true on delivery attempts 
• Disciplinary issues are dealt with timeously 
• Assessment of routes and values are done correctly on dispatch 
• Ensure that the warehouse is always neat and tidy and that all faults are reported and addressed timeously 
•  Reports sent daily of hub status 
•  Ensure hub and fleet is maintained in good working order at all times to ensure the safety of all staff 
• The successful implementation of all new systems and procedures and communicated by head office and the facilitation of all change management interventions on an ongoing basis.

Requirements 

• Applicant must be fully vaccinated Ability to liaise with clients on all levels on customer satisfaction 
•  Minimum of 5 years Supervisory/Management experience 
• Any Logistics/Transport qualification would be an advantage 
•  Computer literacy 
• Valid Driver’s License 
•  Ability to write reports 
• Health and Safety Qualifications 
• Computer literate/knowledge on the RMS 
•  Will have to work flexi hours
