SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced Banking Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in High Court litigation with a specific focus on foreclosures and defended litigation. This role is critical to our department and requires an individual who can manage a portfolio independently and provide strategic legal counsel. This position is based in Preatia East.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage litigation cases related to banking, with a focus on foreclosures and defended matters.
Provide legal advice and strategy to clients in complex litigation cases.
Oversee and mentor junior legal staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Maintain and develop client relationships to ensure continued business growth.
Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Admitted attorney with at least 10 years post-admission experience in High Court banking litigation.
Demonstrated expertise in foreclosures and defended litigation cases.
Possess a valid driver's licence and own transport.

Experience and Skills:

Experience managing a legal department and mentoring junior staff is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and manage a personal portfolio of cases.
Strong communication, administrative, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with AJS & Ghost Practice is a plus.
A dynamic problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills, willing to work overtime as needed.
