Position Overview: 
Our client is looking for an experienced Banquet Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the banquet services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure smooth operations during events. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire the team, maintain service quality, and exceed guest expectations.
 

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate banquet functions, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
• Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all specifications are met and service standards are maintained.
• Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff, providing training and guidance where necessary.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and event management teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, ensuring availability during events.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and special requirements professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining labour costs within budget.

• Proven experience as a Banquet or Food & Beverage Supervisor in a high-volume hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
