Boilermaker

SUMMARY:
A Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering company is looking to employ a Boilermaker, the ideal candidate will have adequate experience and a deep understanding of boiler making practices, machining processes, mechanical manufacturing, and a strong background in managing a team. The boilermaker will be responsible for fabricating, overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality standards, optimizing of job timing and shop efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
• Qualified Tradesman / Qualified Boilermaker and Certified Welder
• 10+ years of experience and having worked in the heavy engineering / mechanical engineering field
• Experience in mechanical engineering manufacturing, including knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-dept understanding of drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
• Ability to manage resources, and timelines effectively.
• This person will be required to step in as the Senior staff member in the fabrication department of a mechanical engineering and manufacturing company.
