POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Trade Tested Boilermaker
• 4-5 + Years Post Trade Experience within a Manufacturing Industry
• Own Transport & Valid Driver’s License
• Must live in surrounding areas
• Good attituded, honest, reliable and punctual  

Responsibilities:

Fabrication and Assembly:

• Constructing, assembling, and installing
• Working with large metal components, often using welding, cutting, bending, and rolling equipment.

Maintenance and Repairs:

• Inspecting boilers for leaks, defects, and weaknesses.
• Performing preventive maintenance on pressure vessels and other equipment.
• Repairing or replacing parts to maintain safety and efficiency.

Welding and Metalwork:

• Using welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick welding) to join metal parts.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to fabricate parts.
• Shaping and preparing metals like steel or aluminium for construction.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations related to pressure vessels.
• Performing tests like hydrostatic pressure testing to verify the integrity of systems.
• Maintaining records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Collaboration:

• Working with engineers, plant operators, and other tradespeople to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
• Planning and coordinating tasks with supervisors and production teams to meet deadlines.
