Requirements:
Grade 12 Certificate
Trade Test Qualification
Medically fit
Valid drivers license
Experience within the transport industry
Role and Responsibilities:
Welding and repairs on Trucks and Trailers
Ability to weld Aluminum
Organizing and assembling boiling parts
Shaping and fabricating parts
Cleaning pressure vessel equipment
Inspecting equipment for proper functioning
Casting and shaping metal pieces
Completion of Job cards
Maintaining trailers
Test and inspect boiler systems for leaks or defects
Replace or repair broken valves, pipes or joints, using hand and power tools, gas torches and welding equipment.
Cuts, files and grinds seams and joints to attain specified fit, using cutting torch, file and power grinder
Straighten or reshape bent plates or structure
Clamps, bolts or tack-welds parts in place for final welding or bolting
