A dynamic, fast-growing property development company in Ballito seeks an organized and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team..

The role involves managing debtor and creditor accounts and maintaining records up to the trial balance stage. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with quick turnaround expectations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Debtors Management: Invoicing, account reconciliations, collections, and credit control.
Creditors Management: Processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payment cycles.
Accounting to Trial Balance: Maintaining and balancing financial records, processing journal entries, and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
Support to the Development Team: Provide accurate and timely financial information to support project planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in a similar accounting role, specifically in debtor and creditor management and maintaining accounts to trial balance.
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Xero accounting software and Excel.
Strong ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure environments.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
