Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper with a strong command of Sage Online and experience in managing finances up to Trial Balance. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and managing intercompany transactions across multiple entities.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
Maintain accurate financial records up to Trial Balance.
Process and record daily transactions with strict financial control.
Conduct regular reconciliations, including bank, supplier, and customer accounts.

2. Intercompany Transactions:
Manage intercompany transfers and transactions for multiple entities.
Ensure accurate allocation and reconciliation across cost centers.

3. Compliance:
Ensure SARS compliance, including accurate e-Filing submissions and correspondence.
Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory requirements.

4. Cost Center Management:
Allocate expenses and revenues to appropriate cost centers.
Monitor cost center performance and prepare periodic reports.

5. Reporting & Communication:
Provide accurate financial reports and insights to management.
Liaise with external auditors and SARS representatives when necessary.
 
Skills & Competencies Required:

Strong knowledge of Sage Online and bookkeeping principles.
Proficiency in reconciliations, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in managing intercompany transfers and multi-entity transactions.
Knowledge of SARS compliance, including e-Filing and submission processes.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to enforce strict financial controls.
 
Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of [Insert Years, e.g., 3 years] bookkeeping experience.
Proven experience with Sage Online accounting software.
Solid understanding of South African tax laws and compliance requirements.
Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification is an advantage.
