SUMMARY:
Our Durban client, a dynamic and growing healthcare manufacturer and wholesaler requires a bookkeeper to manage the accounts and financial admin for the business.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Reconciliation of Expense and Balance sheet accounts
Processing Month End journals
Bank Reconciliations
Cash Book Capturing
Processing of Invoices
Process cash books
Preparation of journal entries
Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Managing the procurement process and stock system
Debtors and creditors management
Compilation of management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts
Monthly reports (management packs – include the income statement and balance sheet)
Vat calculation and e-Filing of Vat returns
e-Filing of Emp 201’s
Financial year end, Completion of files hand over to internal Auditors
General admin/logistics backup – as needed
Training and Learning – Parcel Ninja
Back End Client Reporting (learning and Accessing Retail Portals for Clicks, Medirite, Takealot and additional accounts as the business grows)

Candidate Requirements:

Bookkeeping qualification
Min. 5 years’ experience in a small business environment
Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
Experience with various accounting packages - Xero, Pastel/Sage
