SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team

POSITION INFO:
Location: Industria Johannesburg

A reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper is required to join the team, This role involves managing financial records and ensuring the company’s finances are organized and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing as needed.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide support during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing financial documents and managing invoices.

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent (degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus).
• Experience with payroll processing and tax reporting.
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
