SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a dynamic Bookkeeper who will report directly to the Management Accountant.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciliation bank statements.

Required outputs: Functional
- Processing/loading all bank related information/payments
- Cash book capturing and reconciliation
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cashflow
- Prepare and capture petty cash and expense claims
- Process journal entries (AR/AP/GL)
- Monthly filing
- Attend to queries and ADHOC duties from time to time
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Assist with GL recon preparation
- Assist with the closing processes at month-end and year-end
- Support debtors, creditors departments and site admins where required
- Attend to auditor’s requests at yearend

- Ability to work and think, both independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Good numerical skills – analytical and practical
- Good time management skills, methodical with attention to detail
- Be computer literate – MS Office package especially Excel, Pastel Evolution
- Deadline orientated – willingness to work overtime if required

Qualifications & Expertise (required):
- Diploma
- Finance related degree advantageous
- 1 - 2 years finance experience
- Knowledge and experience of reconciliations – in particular bank accounts
