Bookkeeper

POSITION INFO:

Take full responsibility for managing accounts up to Trial Balance, ensuring precision and sound financial practices
Oversee the end-to-end process of collections, payment processing, and reconciliation of both accounts receivable and payable
Manage PAYE submissions, payments, and ensure full compliance with SARS regulations and statutory requirements
Administer payroll functions, update and maintain accurate employee records, and handle the processing of U19 forms
Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews and reconcile key financial accounts
Prepare and present monthly financial reports, while managing intercompany loan transactions across two business entities
Keep the company’s asset register up to date and ensure accurate tracking of all fixed assets
Engage regularly with talent/models to go over payslips, address queries, and resolve any outstanding payment issues
 
Skills & Experience:
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting
Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred), Sage Payroll, and navigating the SARS online platform
Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and professional email communication
Exceptionally organized with a sharp eye for detail and strong account reconciliation abilities

Qualification:
Completed Matric
