Bookkeeper - Western Cape - George

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established auditing firm is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. 

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree or Diploma would be advantageous
  • Must have 5+ years experience with a accounting/auditing firm
  • Must be literate on Pastel Partner and Sage One
DUTIES:
  • Processing tax invoices for suppliers and customers
  • Processing and reconciling cashbooks (bank recons)
  • Reconciling to supplier and customer statements
  • SARS e-filing equipped
  • VAT reconciliation and returns
  • Able to compile Annual Financial Statements on CaseWare
  • Assist with VAT reviews on SARS
  • Processing of journals up to a final trial balance
ABOUT YOU:
  • Must be a good communicator (written and verbal skills)
  • Dynamic and motivated
  • Able to work independently or in a team
  • Must be a fast learner
