SUMMARY:
A well-established financial accounting firm requires the above to be responsible for the full bookkeeping function for a number of their clients.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office with basic Excel skills.
Financial accounting or bookkeeping or related qualification is preferred but not essential for the role .
Previous experience having worked in a bookkeeping or related role is essential.
Previous experience having worked on an accounting package is preferred.
Previous experience having worked on Pastel and Pastel Payroll is preferred. The company is also happy to train the person on Pastel Partner if no experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Performing and preparing the full bookkeeping function for a number of the accounting firm’s clients.
Handling all supplier processing, allocating payments and reconciliations.
Handling customer processing, allocations of payments and reconciliations.
Handling all cashbooks and reconciliations for different clients.
Performing all VAT, PAYE, Tax clearance, IRP5’s etc. For clients.
Handling all payroll for clients on a monthly basis and reconciling payroll to accounting software.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
