Bookkeeper- Remote - NPO

SUMMARY:
Seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Essential qualifications include a solid understanding of accounting principles, exceptional client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, small business environment and grants tracking experience.

POSITION INFO:
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of accounting and/or bookkeeping for a nonprofit organization, including Grant experience
•  QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience ( 3-5yrs)
•  Experience working with multiple sets of books at one time 
• Willing  to learn new technology and resourceful in coming up with solutions
• well-organized and detail-oriented
• willing to work on US Time zones 

1. Use your aptitude for detail-orientation to record & classify financial account activity in accounting systems mainly QuickBooks Online and process payroll
2. Be an Accounts Payable whiz and record all vendor invoices and prepare bill payments 
3. Be an Accounts Receivable pro and prepare customer invoices or sales receipts, receive payments, and follow-up on aging receivables 
4.  Monthly reconciliations and reporting
5.  Ensure the proper documentation and notes are submitted into accounting systems and client records
6. Direct communication with our clients 
7. Be a lifelong learner while growing expertise in new accounting platforms and software
