SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper for a permanent role based in Wilsonia, East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with finance qualification ideal
3+ years bookkeeping experience – hardware / construction industry preferred
Must have experience with stock / assets / journals and loan accounts / payroll
Must have worked on Pastel as well as advanced Excel (Pivot Tables)
Able to work under pressure; be reliable, honest and trustworthy
Clear criminal and credit history and contactable work references
Valid driver’s / own transport preferred
Working hours Monday – Friday: 8am – 4.30pm

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Full debtors / creditor’s function
Banking function
Month end journals
Interbranch journals / transfers
Handle instalment sale agreements
Asset control and register
Balancing of loan accounts
Payroll function
Petty cash control

Salary: R20 000.00 – R30 000.00 per month for the ideally matched candidate
