Branch Administrator PE (Freight)

Responsibilities
Carry out, assist and oversee all branch administrative duties to all stakeholders
Compile and update status reports
Ensure standard processes and procedures are in place and adhered to at all times.
Assist in the timeous and efficient closeout related to shipments by tracking and tracing client shipments and invoice timeously (client specific)
Provide general administrative support and back up to the entire team in ensuring client requirements are met
Establish and develop strongly valued relationships with all suppliers, agents and clients with the purpose of increasing confidence in and the reputation of the business driving brand awareness and loyalty
Ensure that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with company specific regulations
Ensure all accruals for the individual shipments are captured and accurate in the month of the revenue recognition of the file (client specific)
Ensure all client queries/complaints are resolved timeously and in a manner which satisfies the query/complaint
Ensure that all pro-forma invoices are correct prior to management authorisation
Responsible for time and attendance at branch level
Liaise with finance department in respect to supplier invoices and payments

Matric
NCFF (NQF ¾), FIATA Diploma advantageous
Attention to detail
Comprehensive knowledge of the forwarding and clearing industry, Incoterms and customs requirements
5 – 8 years’ experience in international freight management
