SUMMARY:
Our client a trading and distribution of electrical supplies company is seeking a Branch Supervisor - Electrical to be based in Durban North, KZN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas include the following:

Direct and Operational Aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Meet goals and metrics
Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
Sharing of knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company

Minimum Qualification:

Valid Matric Senior Certificate, a tertiary qualification in Sales Management will be an added advantage
2 Years Sales Experience
Have good numeracy skills

Core Competencies:

Advanced LV Product Knowledge, moderate Cable and OHL knowledge
Computer Literacy (MS Word and email etiquette) and Numeracy skills
Must pay attention to detail
Develop and maintain relationships with customers from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
Strong telephone etiquette and have moderate administration skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Maintain documentation record
