Brits: MAINTENANCE CLERK
Minimum Requirements:
-Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification a must
-Minimum 3 years related technical experience a must
-Recent experience in planning and scheduling a must
-Recent demonstrated Technical and analytical experience a must
-Experience with computerised management systems a must
-High level written and oral communication skills a must
-Ability to display initiative, independent judgement and discretion in all areas of the role
-Ability to make rapid and logical decisions in a changing production environment
-Proficient administration skills with the ability to prioritise
-Excellent time management skills
-Highly organised with a systematic approach to task execution
-Ability to work across a diverse range of levels of personnel within the business
-Stable employment record and contactable References
-Must reside within commuting distance from Brits
-Must be able to start immediately
Duties:
-Establish, maintain and improve the maintenance planning and scheduling process(Paving Supplier and Manufacturer Plant)
-Apply best practices in maintenance planning and scheduling processes to optimize the use of the workforce and improve machine reliability
-Continually improve planning, scheduling, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency
-Administer the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant Preventative Maintenance, Proactive Maintenance and Continuous Improvement activities
-Carry out Facility inspections and SHE support services
-Oversee the effective running of the day-to-day procurement and ensuring all parts are on site On-Time In Full
-Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and maintenance system database
-Work with the team to ensure maintenance work is factored into the production plan, to schedule resources for most effective production and maintenance outcomes
-Ensure key performance indicators are captured, reported and displayed for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance and planning and scheduling
-Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment
-Root cause analysis administration and investigations
-Ensure all necessary parts, equipment, services and documentation to perform the maintenance work are readily available at time of use
-Preventative, Corrective, Reactive & Continuous Improvement Workload Prioritisation
-Blending the Planned Maintenance Workload with the Production Schedule
-Maximising Plant and Equipment availability
-Coordinating external service providers
-Liaising and communicating with relevant stakeholders
-Delivering all of the required maintenance outputs within the budgetary constraints of the departments
Salary: R 10 000.00 - R 12 000.00 gross maximum
