Brits: MAINTENANCE PLANNER
Minimum Requirements:
-Presentable male, aged approximately 25 – 35 years
-Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification a must
-Minimum 3 years related experience a must
-Minimum 2 years experience in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities a must
-Demonstrated technical and analytical experience
-Proficient and experienced in computerised maintenance management systems such as Pragma or Syspro or similar a must
-Knowledge and understanding of Fast Paced Industry operations and Maintenance
-High level written and oral communication skills
-Able to display initiative, independent judgement and discretion in all areas of the role
-Able to make rapid and logical decisions in a changing production environment
-Proficient administration skills with ability to prioritise
-Sound and correct understanding of equipment reliability concepts
-Solid experience and appreciation of risk management strategy and practices related to plant and equipment
-Solid experience and appreciation of quality management methods and practices related to plant and equipment reliability
-Excellent time management skills allowing for required outcomes to be delivered to required timelines
-Highly organised with a systematic approach to task execution
-Ability to work across diverse range of levels of personnel within business
-Stable employment record and contactable References
-Must residing within commuting distance from Brits
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full maintenance coordination / planning for well established Paving Supplier and Manufacturer
-Report to Maintenance Team Leader / Foreman
-Apply best practices in maintenance planning and scheduling processes to optimize use of workforce and improve machine reliability on site
-Continually improving planning, scheduling, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency
-Administer full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant Preventative Maintenance, Proactive Maintenance and Continuous Improvement activities
-Carry out Facility inspections and SHE support services
-Oversee the effective running of the day to day procurement and ensuring all parts are on site OTIF
-Establish, maintain and improve the maintenance planning and scheduling process
-Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and maintenance system database
-Work with Team Leaders to ensure maintenance work is factored into the production plan, to schedule resources for most effective production and maintenance outcomes
-Ensure key performance indicators are captured, reported and displayed for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance and planning and scheduling
-Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment
-Preventative maintenance methodology
-Continuous improvement methodology
-Maintenance workload prioritisation
-Root cause analysis administration and investigations
-Ensure all necessary parts, equipment, services and documentation to perform the maintenance work are readily available at time of use
Salary: R 15 000.00 – R 20 000.00 gross maximum
