JOB DESCRIPTION:

A brief overview of the position / responsibilities of the Job is:

  • Increase revenue via new business generation, thus increasing Company turnover and profits.
  • New business generation (SME’s / Corporate / Government / Enterprise) – B2B sales.
  • Be accountable for your forecasts / appointments / leads / prospects.
  • Meet targets for New Customer Meetings and Contact.
  • Meet targets for New Deals started and Pipeline growth.
  • Sales of the full suite of comprehensive enterprise solutions to enterprise.
Responsibilities:
  • To meet and exceed monthly sales targets through the generation of new business for the full suite of the Company Telecom solutions.
  • Create a business development strategy based on market analysis and a comprehensive understanding of the Company Teleco offering and positioning.
  • Executive all required activities to generate new business opportunities (cold calling, networking, referrals etc).
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of the Company’s products, commercial, policies and procedures, in order to identify and progress new business opportunities that meet the Company’s strategic and profitability goals.
  • Keep Management informed by submitting sales pipeline reports and results reports, such as daily call reports and quarterly work plans.
  • Develop and effectively manage strong relationships at multiple levels within prospects.
  • Facilitate the installation process for new business and manage the Client relationship until handover to a designated Account  Manager.
  • Provide feedback to Management as to market requirements and conditions relating to the Company’s offering and positioning.
  • Knowledge of products and processes.
  • Reviewing / Evaluating (Systems / Methods).
  • Investigating / Observing / Searching and Collecting.
  • Analysing and diagnosing.
  • Problem Solving / Designing.
The Job Requirements for the BUSINESS DEVELOPER - JOHANNESBURG is as below:

Characteristics
  • 3 Years of sales experience in the Telco / Office Automation/ CCTV / Solar / ISP environment focusing on sales of Solutions to Enterprise / Corporate Clients / SME.
  • Strong communication, negotiating and influence skills.
  • Experience in the Telco / ISP environment selling full solutions is essential.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Sales CRM Solutions.
  • Ability to work independently as a motivated self-starter.
  • Customer orientated.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications legislative changes.
  • Excellent command of the English language with excellent telephone voice.
  • Self-motivated, success driven and innovative.
  • Systematic, persistent and efficient when managing own time.
  • Professional and well presented.
  • Hunter mentality – know how to create opportunities, close transactional details.
  • Requirements
  • Corporate sales of either Telecommunications/Office Automation/CCTV /Solar solutions including understanding of the technologies as well.
  • Completed Matric or Grade 12.
  • Business Diploma (desirable).
  • Converged Technologies.
  • 3 Years of B2B sales experience focusing on sales and business development.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and generate revenue (cold calling / networking).
  • Proven ability on structuring deals.
  • Proven ability to sell technology products.
  • Must have your own reliable transport.
  • Valid Code B drivers license.
  • Bilingual and excellent communication skills.
Money:
  • The salary ranges from R12 000-00 to R18 000-00 per month and is based on your current package and experience. 
  • Target and commission structure is based on the basic salary.GP Target will be R100 000.
  • Petrol allowance & commission (uncapped).
