POSITION INFO:
The Buyer will oversee the procurement process, including supplier coordination, contract negotiation, and compliance with company policies. This role ensures accurate order tracking, supplier evaluation, and documentation while addressing supply chain challenges and identifying sourcing opportunities. By optimising procurement efficiency and building strong supplier relationships, this role is vital in maintaining cost-effectiveness, operational continuity, and the organisation's success in a competitive market.
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for:

Manage procurement requisitions and purchasing activities.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality products.
Monitor and manage supplier performance.
Coordinate order generation, tracking, and expediting processes.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procurement standards.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

What do you need:

Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes and systems (e.g., SAP or similar).
Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
Ability to solve problems and handle complaints efficiently.
