Ensuring materials, good s, consumables and services are purchased within required timescales, specification and cost utilizing the company control system 
Key support for the material manager 
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best deal for the organization is always secured Proactively source new suppliers of products and services to ensure best values and prices 
Ensure all processes and activities are conducted according to management system
