SUMMARY:
Global engineering company requires an experienced Buyer for a 21 month fixed term contract. This position is based in Alrode, Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of 5 years procurement experience - full function
Degree in logistics or purchasing management or equivalent
Engineering / manufacturing environment is essential
Responsible for purchasing and procuring of Original Equipment,
service parts and consumables .
Knowledge of lean principles
Good understanding of MRP logic, Bill of Materials (BOM) and the impact on order creation
