POSITION INFO:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to purchase feedstock for our Chrome Wash Plants. This is a dynamic role that requires frequent travel to various plant locations and suppliers to source the best materials at competitive prices. You will be instrumental in maintaining the continuous flow of quality feedstock and ensuring that operational needs are met effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Source and negotiate contracts for the purchase of feedstock from various suppliers
Travel to Chrome Wash Plant sites and supplier locations to assess feedstock availability, quality, and pricing
Collaborate with plant managers to determine feedstock requirements and timelines
Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers for ongoing support
Monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing and optimal supply chain performance
Ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards for purchased feedstock
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in mining or mineral processing
Strong understanding of feedstock sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management
Previous exposure to chrome or mineral processing industries is a plus
Willingness to travel frequently to visit suppliers and plants
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
