Job Description
Training of staff, staff duty rosters, tasks, check lists and to do lists to ensure duties are carried out timeously, Welcome and Host guests for all meals, Assisting Manager with by monitor customer service by communicating with guests during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service, Maximize restaurant occupancy and increase Food and Beverage sales using Marketing and Upselling techniques, Marketing ideas to be presented monthly to Management and the Marketing Department, Implement Monthly Marketing ideas/plan, Maintain par stock levels at all times in Bar facilities, (including Mini Bars), Beverage and Food cost to be maintained, Monthly stock take, Process all invoices, Ensure the Restaurant and Bar facilitates are set-up for service and clean and ready according to the times set by the Lodge Manager, Compile cleaning schedule daily and weekly for all Food and Beverages areas, Maintain service of Food and Beverages are done to the required standards and are served to the required temperatures, To undertake all training as required and mentor junior staff, To adhere to all safety and general company procedures and policies and implement the requirements, To embrace the company culture, Ability to remain calm during busy periods and handle difficult situations.
Qualifications
Skills
Valid driver’s license and own transport, Minimum 5 years management experience in hospitality, Good administrative skills, including a good knowledge of accounting principles, Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner, Microsoft office.
Salary / Package
R13 000-16 000.00 (depending on experience)
