SUMMARY: ASSISTANT CATERING MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A corporate catering contract located in Cape Town.
Our client seeks an experienced Assistant Catering Manager for a unit located in Cape Town. Will report to the Catering Manager on site. Understanding of food hygiene. Hands-on experience with creating menus from scratch and managing costs and controls. Previous experience within a similar establishment required.
Relevant Food Service/Catering/Hospitality qualifications are an advantage.
Minimum 3-5 years Corporate and/or Industrial Catering experience. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Customer service attitude. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances. Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays. Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus.
