SUMMARY:
I am recruiting for a CNC Machinist, with the following key attributes: Excellent eye for detail; Analytical; accurate; Good problem-solver; good inter-personal and communication skills; Results oriented

POSITION INFO:

Qualification / Skills:

Min. N3 (and matric)
Must understand and be able to read engineering drawings
Basic understanding of GD&T
In-depth knowledge of CNC Machines
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Technical drawing software packages, e.g. Mastercam, viscam , AutoCAD, etc.
In-depth knowledge of Grinders, lathes & milling machines
Experience on Fanuc controls (milling machines)
Master cam experience is essential (Min. 3 years)
Min. 3 years’ experience operating CNC milling machines
Must be able to use the basic measuring interments (i.e. Vernier, micrometre, dial indicator)
Programming G- code & Mastercam

Responsibility:

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues with CNC machines and programs.
Programming Efficiency: Optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle times and improve productivity.
