This engineering company is a leader in the industry, specialising in the design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Perform routine machine setup and calibration.
• Ensure quality and precision in all machining tasks, adhering to tolerances and specifications.
• Inspect finished products to maintain high-quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with the design and engineering teams to enhance productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot and maintain CNC machinery to minimise downtime.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or relevant equivalent tertiary qualification
• Must have a valid Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner or Toolmaker

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in an engineering or hydraulics environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operations.
