CNC Programmer

SUMMARY:
Our client within the Machinery parts manufacturing industry is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team in Germiston.

Scope of the Position
To ensure the client's programming department is running productively and that continually improvements keep the client competitive in the market

POSITION INFO:
Roles and responsibilities.
· Configuration Management of all drawings and programs.
· Generate new programs
· Modify existing programs
· Reverse engineering
· Continuously improvements. (Cycle times, methods)
· Running drawing review board (chair meetings, updating registers)
· Proving programs on machines
· Doing first offs inspections with probing system on final machine set ups (with foreman)
· Internal training (operators)
· Be part of new development work within group.
· Improving machine tooling (tool life and performance)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Recognized formal qualification in both Engineering and programming
· Matric certificate
· Highly detailed orientated
· Exceptional understanding of Engineering drawings
· Mastercam advanced is essential
· Computer literate and skilled
· Trade test (beneficial)
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Fanuc control experience
