JOB DESCRIPTION:

COMPRESSORS SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Overview: Service, repair and install compressors and auxiliary equipment in RSA and Sub-Sahara Africa

Requirements:

Millwright or Fitter trade
Drivers’ License
Valid Passport
Good bill of health
Computer literacy (MS Office)
No criminal record
Able to work at odd times

Duties:

Site Repairs and services in SA and Sub Saharan Africa

Technical

Maintenance, repairs, and servicing of various types of compressors.
Ensure correct equipment is taken along for specific jobs
Execute services and repairs
Ensure equipment is operating at optimal efficiency
Liaise with end user and advise on machine status
Advise client of possible improvements
Promote regular maintenance

Spares

Check all spares and documentation
Ensure all spares and documentation are delivered correctly
Ensure correct required spares are quoted

Admin

Ensure that time sheets are filled in correctly and timeously
Ensure correct and up to date
Compile full Service and or Repair Report, including correct operating data and spares

Safety

Comply to safe working procedures as stipulated to minimize risk

Vehicle & Tools

Maintain and take responsibility of complete vehicle and tools

Remuneration:

R140/h (R27k) plus benefits
