CREDIT CONTROLLER – ALBERTON (3768)

Our client a steel trading company requires an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

 Experience and Requirements:

• 5 or more years recent experience as a Credit Controller (debtors)
• Knowledge of Government Cessions in the Civil industry will be an advantage as well as mining and project houses
• Worked with Tenders / managing projects
• Experience vetting credit applications
• Reliable transport
• A stable work record and contactable references
• Preferably a non- smoker
• Able to work retails hours
• A clear credit and criminal record
• Strong collection and administrative skills
• Computer literate on Syspro or similar and have advanced experience on Excel (Spreadsheets)
• Reside close to Alberton
• Knowledge of CGIC
• Good verbal and communication skills in English and Afrikaans

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cashbook / Cash Flow
• Annual Audits
• Assist with admin duties related to stock takes
• Filing and recordkeeping
• Offer Branch support
• Ensure that all payments are processed daily from bank accounts
• Ensure that accounts remain in approved terms
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and Credit Manager
• Submit weekly and reports
