CSSD Manager

SUMMARY:
A vacancy has become available for a well experienced CSSD Manager to lead the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) within the Operating Theatre.

POSITION INFO:
The CSSD Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sterilization processes and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the Operating Theatre. This role is crucial in supporting surgical procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Requirements:

• Nursing Diploma or Degree
• Experience in operating theatre processes ie: scrubbing, flooring, anesthetic induction OR
• Qualifications in decontamination services or sterilization procedures.
• Current registration with SANC.
• Previous experience managing a CSSD department is highly advantageous.
• Strong ability to work under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous staff management and conflict resolution experience are essential.
• Flexibility regarding working hours.
