CTS 14814 - Paint Shop Foreman (Timber) – East Rand

Your responsibility will be the following:

• Oversee the multi-stage preparation process, including sanding, sealing, priming, and finishing, ensuring high standards at each stage.
• Ensure each item meets client specifications and quality standards before final coating.
• Implement and maintain inspection protocols for quality assurance at all stages.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily activities, ensuring the timely completion of orders.
• Manage workloads, allocate resources, and oversee scheduling to meet production deadlines, including working overtime and weekends as needed.
• Address and resolve any production bottlenecks or quality issues promptly.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members as required to maintain a high-quality team.
• Continuously develop team members’ skills in various finishing techniques and quality practices.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations concerning finishing materials.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of 15 staff members, providing guidance and support to meet production and quality goals.
• Foster a culture of quality, efficiency, and safety within the team.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to staff.
