Purpose of the Position: Provide high level of flight attendant assistance to passengers Private Jet – seating of max 20 people Travel is: Family, Clients, Guests and Office staff from time to time
Responsibilities and Duties: Not Limited Provide information, guidance, and assistance for safety and comfort to passengers on board aircraft Attend the “brief” and act on it. Conduct safety check before flight. Meet and Greet passengers Family are Muslim – halaal meals are crucial Service offered should always be five star Prepare and serve drinks and meals to passengers. Liaise with in-house pilots on itinerary Planning menus and purchasing of groceries and other items Ensure inventory items are in order (cutlery & crockery) Stock take of products on the aeroplane Attendant must ensure all trash has been removed from the cabin and seats are in their correct positions before performing a final safety check. After landing, attendants assist passengers in safely deplaning the aircraft. Client and Staff liaison when requested. Assist with any administrative tasks at the office where requested. Have a valid passport at all times. Ensure the planes / helicopters are clean before and after each flight. Set and style the interior of the plane / helicopter as approved. Ensure the Covid-19 safety regulations are followed and adhered to on each flight. Render any administrative task, such as drafting letters, memos, recons, emails, etc. Liaise with suppliers, clients where required. Itinerary travel planning when requested. Diary Management where requested. Taking minutes of meetings Assist staff at the office with admin work when needed including running errands etc. Be prepared to travel on short notice both locally and internationally. Academic & Trade Qualifications: Degree In travel - optional Air hostess certification - optional First Aid Course High school graduate Silver tray training (hospitality) Work experience and Skills: Proven experience with contactable references First class / VIP / Corporate flight experience highly advantageous 2-5 years related experience Driver’s License and own vehicle Valid Passport Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) Personal qualities & behavioural traits: Assertive Well spoken Flexibility Professional Bubbly personality Adaptability Ability to multitask Good judgment skills Planning and organizing skills Strategic planning Stress tolerance High energy level Efficient and takes initiative Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal) High level of confidentiality
