Calling for Accountants: Treasurer!

A leader in the mining industry in Africa, located in Abidjan- Côte d'Ivoire, is looking for an Accountant: Treasurer to join their team. This role will give the successful Candidate an opportunity to join a multi-national team. The role is responsible for overall cash management for the business. Duties: 

• Ensure that the cash flow plan is developed
• Ensure that the business’ cash requirements are forecasted
• Continuously monitor the cash flow & surpluses
• Retrieve approval to invest surpluses according to the Group Treasurer, General Management etc.
• Ensure checks are conducted before payments of purchases, for staff salaries as well as tax & social declarations etc.
• Conduct monthly bank recons   
• Ensure that liquidity is checked & security measures are implemented
• Ensure that reliable financial statements are available

Job Experience & Skills Required:

2 years’ experience in similar position

DEF4+ or BAC + 02 in Accounting/ Financial Accounting/ Management Accounting

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Pronto Software
