Host Guests at a 5* Lodge in the Sabi Sands

KEYOUT PUTS:

• Prepare day sheets and follow up with guest flights and drop off times.
• Prepare welcome notes for Arriving guests, and departures notes for all departures.
• Room checks: make sure the room is styled and cleaned to our BOP’s and standard.
• Check guests in during the day and manage dietary, kids or any other special request.
• Host guests during the day. Meet them back from drive and assist with any request they have.
• Check set ups for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Make sure the main area is always tidy and styled to our BOP.
• Host guests in the evenings and check smooth running of evening service from the kitchen and butlers.
• Check and reply to e-mails on camp mangers computer.
• Responsible for guest delight set up if required.
• Inform all departments of any changes to the day sheet.
• Work closely with butlers and barmen to maintain a high service standard.
• Work closely with housekeeping making sure a high standard is maintained.
• Management of the safari shop, including Stock takes, sales and check outs.
• Relief for the safari shop manager when they go on leave.
• Assisting with monthly cash ups of guest bills
• Meetings with Butlers, Barmen and Housekeepers to maintain high standards.
• Assist with checking bar stock daily to ensure that control systems are being implemented correctly.
