Cash Book Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing/fmcg industry is urgently looking to employ a Cashbook Clerk at their organization

POSITION INFO:
Location: Mobeni, KZN

Requirements: 

• Matric
• 3+ years experience as a cashbook clerk
• Sage Pastel Experience

• Bank Reconciliations for the Group – Meeting monthly deadlines and balancing all Bank Accounts.
• Ensuring systems are as live as possible.
• Provide support to the Debtors Team in terms of reallocations and unknown deposits.
• Provide support to the Finance Team with regards to queries on payments etc.
• Maintaining a paperless system in terms of Banking.
• Filing of all Cashbook Paperwork.
• Filing of FNB Expense Card Recons once signed off by Management.
• Meeting deadlines and reconciling with accuracy.
• Submitting deductions for FNB Expense Cards
• Ensuring all FNB Expense Card Recons are signed off by Management.
• Sending of staff orders.
• Checking correct payments are paid according to pricing.
• Release Orders on Proof of Payments.
• Ensuring the funds reflect in the bank.
• Allocating payments to the relevant Invoices.
• Dealing with any queries eg: Invoicing.
• Capturing the daily Foreign Exchange Rate on the system.
• Ensuring queries/requests are dealt with timeously.
