Provide a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused cashier service ensuring accurate account of all stock and transactions within a catering retail environment.

• Stock Administration and Ad-hoc Duties
• Compliance to food safety and health and safety requirements.
• Provide a professional customer experience

CORE COMPETENCIES

The incumbent of this position must have:

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge and understanding of POS system
• Literacy skills
• Knowledge and understanding of menu, prices, and specials
• Knowledge and understanding of food, health, and safety requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of FIFO principles (stock rotation) and date coding
• Knowledge and understanding of packing requirements
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, compliance to HACCP standards and other relevant food, health, and safety requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Cashier certificate

3 years cashier experience

2 years’ experience in a customer services environment
