Catering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead all aspects of catering services, including strategic planning, budgeting, daily operations, and client relations.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain innovative, cost-effective menus aligned with client needs and budget constraints.
• Oversee food preparation and service quality to ensure client satisfaction.
• Manage daily operations within the catering unit, including inventory management, procurement, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle HR-related responsibilities, such as hiring, training, supervising, and motivating staff to achieve high performance.
• Maintain excellent customer relations through effective communication and prompt response to feedback or complaints.

• Relevant qualification in the Hospitality Industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Catering Manager, ideally in an Industrial Catering environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive for managing documentation, reports, and communication.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, and staff. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Skilled in devising creative menus, costing them effectively, and adhering to a budget.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and foster a cooperative work environment.
• Proven track record of performing well under pressure, ensuring high standards are maintained even during busy periods.
