POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Catia Draughtsman to work in our aerospace engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed 3D models, 2D technical drawings, and designs using CATIA V5 software. You will work closely with our engineers and designers to produce drawings for various aerospace components, including structures, systems, and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CATIA V5 in line with aerospace standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop design concepts and solutions.
• Produce detailed assembly drawings and component designs for aerospace structures and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and support the continuous improvement of design processes.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
• Liaise with the manufacturing team to ensure the feasibility and precision of designs.

Requirements

• Qualification: A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in aerospace design and drafting, with proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Skills:
  
  • Proficient in CATIA V5 for both 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
  • Experience in designing aerospace components (e.g., structures, mechanical systems, avionics).
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with aerospace design standards and industry regulations (e.g., AS9100).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
