Our client, a luxury lodge in the Eastern Cape, is seeking a experienced Fine Dining Chef to join their culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating exceptional dishes, a strong background in fine dining, and the ability to work in a high-end lodge environment. Overseas experience will be and added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present fine dining dishes
- Develop seasonal menus
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet high culinary standards
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and kitchen organization
- Train and mentor kitchen staff
- Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a fine dining, hospitality or lodge setting.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of international and contemporary cuisine
- Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently in a lodge environment
- Attention to detail
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
- Willing to work shifts which will include weekends
