Our client, a leading confectionary manufacturing company, seeks to employ a qualified Chocolatier to assist with the development of new chocolate products to the highest international standard.
Please note that only candidates who have experience in chocolate, ganache and related luxury chocolate products.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
- You will have a Diploma in Food Technology, coupled with 2-3 years experience in new product development, specifically in chocolate, a certification as a chocolatier is advantageous.
- You will have experience in new product development, recipe testing, managing the tempering equipment, creating procedures for new products and taking corrective action for quality issues.
- You will also have experience in managing stock for the department and ensure quality raw materials are received from the suppliers.
- You will also have ensured hygiene and cleanliness within the development department and lab, as well as working closely with the packaging department regarding labels, allergens and product information to be included on all packaging.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
